A Daddy, a Mommy, 2 boys, 1 girl, 9 suitcases, 2 strollers, 4 backpacks, 1 car seat, a bag of pillows and a camera bag departed from Litiz, PA, bound for Windsor UK for a 3 month adventure :)

The trip through the airport was nice and smooth, and everyone was in a great mood and ready to enjoy the start of this family adventure.

Although the red eye flight did not contain as much sleep as we had hoped, God gracious granted us an extra measure of patience with each other for our first day in Windsor. We started to settle in at 15 Temple Road, and (after a very long afternoon nap) went out for a walk to see the Long Walk, the park, and had dinner at "The King and Castle" pub to celebrate our safe arrival.

We went to England because my husband volunteered for a project at his company, Intersystems, which put him in their Eton & Glasgow offices for 3 months. They were happy to put the whole family up there (in Windsor, which is just next to Eton) while he was on the project.
